My background includes almost 20 years in a research driven health setting in marketing and sales. Before that, I had 8 years of training and research as a chemist in a medical school clinical laboratory setting. Using all of these years of research, and my health and wellness experience, I have only increased my levels of energy. It’s also aided in my excitement about wellness and what good health can bring to many people, regardless of where they are currently in life.
At this time, I'm active in the wellness sector in Austin, Texas, acting as a wellness consultant, coach, author and speaker.
I have been a health and nutrition enthusiast throughout my life. In my 20s, I enjoyed track sprinting. In my 30s, I started heavy weight lifting, which included three years of bodybuilding. In my 40s, I started doing long-distance road cycling. In my 50s, I combined all previous activities into a cross-functional training regimen that I use to maintain my level of health and conditioning.
At age 54, I set a Guinness World Record for most number of pull-ups done within a 24-hour period. With age, we can gain additional tools to enhance our well-being. We can always decide for our best years to be ahead of us, regardless of when we start to focus on our health.
