56-year-old going for 2nd Guinness World Record Title to promote Education and Health

Austin, TX – On November 15, 2016, Mark K Jordan will be attempting to set his 2nd Guinness World Record title for the most number of pull ups in 24 hours.  He set the record once before when he was only 54.  His belief in the ability to get better with age, combined with his passion for optimal health, well-being and education for all is what drives him to remain active and reach out to enlighten others.  Mark believes that your best years can always be ahead of you, regardless of your current age.  Mark also enjoys pursuing activities that involve enhancing educational opportunities for our youth.  To that end, he has partnered with the IDEA Allan campus, to generate funds with this event, which will support their efforts towards a 100% acceptance rate of their students getting into college.

The event will take place at Ignite Fitnez, at 1109-B South Congress Avenue, ATX 78704 (512.445.0773).  Mark will start at 6 am and have 24 hours to get on and off the pull up bar as many times as he wants to complete thousands of pull ups!

Mark is challenging individuals or groups to donate ‘1 penny per pull up’ to support the success efforts at IDEA Allan college prep campus. Follow this link:
